This all starts with the height measurements given in silo measurements:

Here is the page where plant employees would update the measurements for the silo inventory by inputting material height.

Depending on the site, it can be something like product inventory or silo measurements under Data Entry.

Items from the silo maintenance and\or product inventory maintenance page can are configured on the silo configuration pages.

This is done by clicking on the webadmin menu item

Here we click on the Silo Configuration link available in the low left of the page

If we choose Silo Dimensions, we see Silo1 is defined as a CementSilos Lookup type:
