General Usage
There are myriad reasons for people to be notified of activity in DATS, so there should be groups configured for each. For out of spec analyses in the internal range, the group could be shift supervisors, operators, and engineers. For out of spec events in the market range, lab management and potentially managers. For monthly reports, there may be corporate groups wanting summaries on a regular basis. Create a group for each, and add individual contacts as necessary.
Contact groups are used for targets and reports.
