File Types
Two Several configurations are currently supported in DATS:
- PANalaytical → Example File
- ARL → Example File
- TF-LS → Example File
- Also works for Rigaku
As of Version 23.2.1, Attachables can also create samples in DATS.
Header Text Formatting
The files exported from the analysis device fall into two categories: one for quality assurance focus (QA) and one for quality control (QC).
For QA samples (composites) the format is:
SOURCE TYPE C SEQUENTIAL
Example → FM1 II C 3344
For QC samples (manufacturing runs) the format is:
SOURCE TYPE M HOUR
Example → FM1 II M 0500
Optionally for any sample type, additional positions can be mapped to sample information. For example, this 5th position indicates Silo 22:
SOURCE TYPE C SEQUENTIAL SILO
Example → FM1 II C 3344 22
Import Types
Administration available via ~/DataImportAdmin/ImportTypes.aspx
The Import Type is the text sequence in the first line that maps to the DATS type.
Import Sources
Administration available via ~/DataImportAdmin/ImportSources.aspx
The Import Source is the text sequence in the first line that maps to the DATS source in a given type.
Import Tests
Administration available via ~/DataImportAdmin/ImportTests.aspx
The Import Test is the ordinal of the line in the file where the data for that test can be found for a given position and its corresponding DATS test. The position is configurable upon commissioning and not available via the web administration interface.
