Attaching Data

Once a sample is created, additional data can be brought in from automated sources. This process is called attaching data.

Attaching Procedure

From the editing view of a properly configured sample, a dropdown list will enumerate the available sources of data.

Clicking the dropdown will list the sources. Clicking a selection will direct to the page that displays the mapping from the source to DATS tests.

After validating the mappings, clicking the Save and Edit button will attach the mapped data and direct back to the sample editing interface.

Deleting Procedure

Deleting a source depends on the type of source. At the moment, only file-based sources are available. Deleting a file-based source moves the file to the configured directory on the server.
