File Types

Several configurations are currently supported in DATS:

  1. PANalaytical → Example File
  2. ARL → Example File
    1. ARL-a → Example File
  3. TF-LS → Example File
    1. Also works for Rigaku
  4. Thermo-Benchtop → Example File

As of Version 23.2.1, Attachables can also create samples in DATS.

Header Text Formatting

The files exported from the analysis device fall into two categories: one for quality assurance focus (QA) and one for quality control (QC).

For QA samples (composites) the format is:

SOURCE TYPE C SEQUENTIAL

Example → FM1 II C 3344

For QC samples (manufacturing runs) the format is:

SOURCE TYPE M HOUR

Example → FM1 II M 0500

Optionally for any sample type, additional positions can be mapped to sample information. For example, this 5th position indicates Silo 22:

SOURCE TYPE C SEQUENTIAL SILO

Example → FM1 II C 3344 22
