To identify your monitor number in Windows 10

  • Right click on your desktop background and select 'Display Settings' as shown in "A" above
  • Monitors are set up for use will display in the visual representation in "B" above. You can see that this machine has two monitors that are assigned the numbers 1 and 2. 
  • Selecting 'Identify' in "C" above will briefly show the monitor numbers on your screen as another way of identifying the numbers.
