Environmental Module

The environmental module (enviro) is designed for a user to perform certain inspections or observations based upon a pre-set timeframe. Available timeframes are shift based, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, or manually setup from a calendar.

Multiple “routes” for navigating between equipment can be created.  Each route has its own:

  1. Schedule of required inspections
  2. Pieces of equipment
  3. Customizable lines of questions
  4. Security role for users

Each “equipment” has its own:

  1. Image indicating inspection point
  2. Equipment Type
    1. Customizable lines of questions
    2. Duration of time for method 9 and method 22
  3. Status

Scenario 1:

In this scenario we are doing a weekly visual inspection. It can be completed on or after the start of the week. I started the route just now and that looks like this.

If someone had previously started inspections for this route it would indicate as such.

The first question Is the Plant Operating Today will drive what questions are asked for each piece of equipment, or if questions are asked at all.  This is an example screen if the plant did not operate. By confirming it the prompt for this inspection in the left nav will go away.

The first screen prompts you for a piece of equipment, verify and continue.

If it has been completed by you or someone else it will indicate as such.

Question page example:

If someone has completed the inspection already it will indicate who and when and what their values were.

If a pre-defined condition is met,

IE: Is the pressure within range = NO

A work order is expected to be created. It will appear on another routes work list. We will call that

Maintenance Follow Up

It has its own left nav alerts and security roles for those appropriate people. Clicking on the alert takes you to the equipment and date where the pre-defined condition was met.

It will prompt another line of questions, or in this case just what is the work order number. You can customize the validation of the answers provided, here between 1 and 500 characters.

Scenario 2:

Monthly Inspection. This is a more in depth inspection.

Did the equipment operate?

If yes, the user is trained on how to observe for visual emissions for 10 minutes. This can be referred to as a Method 22.

Images can be attached for instructional purposes.

If emissions are observed, it will ask the following line of questions and require a Method 9 be completed.

Depending on the duration of time readings are required to be taken, the data entry for it will adjust as required.

The method 9 reporting page allows you to see the visual emissions and the results. It is presented as one inspection per printable page. It has a date selector and all method 9’s that were conducted during that timeframe will be listed. This is a sample of the report:

The Method 22 report shows you the result for each piece of equipment for the timeframe specified.

The Monthly Method 22 Summary Report shows all equipment and number of pass fail events with their current operational status.
