Using the Voice to Text feature

Some plants may utilize Voice to Text (VTT) for data input on forms. Here is a quick rundown of the functionality.

**Apple devices utilize the built-in VTT and the recorder will not be present

Recorder Menu:

The recorder menu is where you can stop and start recording as well as change the language it is attempting to listen to. It is draggable so it can be moved out of the way when necessary.

Recording:

There are two ways to start recording:

  1. The first is by simply clicking on a text input field once, this will automatically start the recording.

  2. Pushing the green circle on the recording menu will begin the recording as well.

Stopping the recording:

There are three ways to stop a recording:

  1. The first is if you click on the text field a second time, this will also enable the keyboard.

  2. The second is to push the red square in the recording menu.

  3. The third is to click on an object outside of the text field.

Changing Languages:

To change the language simply click which one you want on the recorder menu.
