General Features

The RTA system shows real-time data in formats usable by operations personnel to react faster to changing conditions in the plant.

The dashboards are:

  • self-refreshing, usually updating every 30 to 60 seconds
  • user configurable, using the RTA Admin interface
  • composed of other Plant Focus modules, like DOR Reports and Graphing visualizations
  • extensible with custom implementations by Production Data

Deployment and Hardware

Because the RTA can be viewed using only a web browser, dashboards can be deployed cost effectively throughout the plant. A typical deployment includes a low-cost computer, networking, and a television.

Recommended specifications:

  • television: 1080p or higher resolution and usually 55" or larger size
  • computer: Intel Compute Stick CS125 or higher, Intel NUC or comparable fan-less PC

Production Data can configure your deployment to automatically display RTA dashboards and remotely administer, if desired.
