Analyses

General Summary

When a sample is created, all the required tests are turned into analyses and attached to the sample. Targets are pulled in at the time of creation and any required sample information as well. Default values are populated, along with any default due dates.

Status

From the targets available at sample creation, each analysis will have a state. The targets are retained with the sample regardless of future target additions or modifications. 

Calculations

Calculations are performed for a sample under a few different circumstances: the sample is edited and saved, an analysis is added to the sample, the associated control sample is edited. Depending on how many associations exist, saving a sample may take a few seconds in order to facilitate all those changes.

Associated Equipment

If the test has an equipment type associated with it, the analysis will require that an equipment be selected. The value of the analysis will then be the factor of that equipment's most recent calibration.
