Expiring Setup Time (MinutesToIncident)

Summary

For a given downtime cause or equipment that has the Scheduled downtime type, you can configure the amount of time that the code can be active before it turns into an Incident type.

The amount of time can be hard coded in the cause/equipment to a set value or can be linked to a DOR formula.

Example

The machine stops at 745a and the operator enters the following downtime:

  • Cause - Operations
  • Equipment - Setup
  • Detail Code - Process Scheduled (PS)
  • Downtime Type - Scheduled
  • MinutesToIncident - 30
  • Count As Stop - True

If the machine doesn't start before the 30 minutes expires, at 815a a new downtime will be created as follows:

  • Cause - Operations
  • Equipment - Setup
  • Detail Code - Process Incident (PI)*
  • Downtime Type - Incident
  • Count As Stop - False

*Note the Process Incident field is customizable per site.
